The death of the dashboard.
Dashboards were a 2015 solution. In 2026, the most effective marketing leaders are replacing them with AI agents that surface what matters.

Every CMO has the same dirty secret: they don't open the dashboard. Not because the data is wrong — because dashboards force humans to do what machines do better.
A dashboard says: 'Here is everything that happened. You figure out what's important.' An agent says: 'Here are the three things that mattered this week and what I think you should do.'
The agent stack we'd deploy today:
- A data layer (BigQuery or Snowflake) ingesting from every channel.
- An agent layer (Claude or GPT-4o with function calling) that queries the data, runs anomaly detection, and writes plain-English summaries.
- A delivery layer (Slack DM, email digest, or Loom-style video) that meets the executive where they already are.
Most importantly: every agent answer cites the underlying number. Trust dies the moment leadership can't audit a claim.
If your reporting is still a tab nobody opens, you don't have a data problem — you have a delivery problem.
